We went here today for quick bite to eat and can't fault it. The service was great and the food was delicious, I had the Salmon Tagliatelle, definitely recommend by Ristorante Veneziano!
Thank Ben G ... Great food and fantastic staff We have eaten in this restaurant many times - and we have honestly never had a bad meal. We would go so far as to say the best most authentic Italian restaurant in Birmingham. Gino and his team are always very welcoming and friendly and whether you order pasta, steak, chicken, fish or pizza it is always delicious. We have eaten in the week, and at weekends and it is always good. We held a party with over 30 guests all eating a 3 course meal and the food was cooked to perfection and piping hot for all guests. We have also been just as a couple/family and we have never been disappointed. Great food, lovely people and really good value for money. Thank Linzipinz_T ... The food was wonderful - I had the prawns as a starter which were huge and tasted like they'd literally just been caught! My main, duck and porcine mushroom tagliatelle, was really tasty and just the right amount too. The service was really quick and efficient, but not intrusive, and the staff were so friendly as well as being passionate about the food. Family dinner
From the moment we entered the restaurant we were warmly greeted and hosted. The setting was comfortable and quiet. We were able to have conversations without intrusive music or background noise. The food was excellent; obviously freshly prepared and full of flavour. We would definitely visit again.

I love independent restaurants and this one shone for me. The atmosphere was cosy, authentically Italian and perfect for a date. The service was very personal and we were treated like appreciated customers, rather than just people bringing the cash. I had the best Calamari I've ever had there. The batter was soft and the squid tender. The other dishes were also exquisite. I didn't want it to end! We enjoyed it so much we purchased a voucher to send my parents there for their own date night. I will definitely be returning. I had fish cake to start and my partner had prawns. Then for the main we had pizza - best pizza I have ever had - (and I've been to Rome and Milan).
